Juan MatheusMiami Marlins Prospect — Shortstop

About Juan

From the DDLA Field to the Highest Level

Juan Matheus is a switch-hitting shortstop in the Miami Marlins organization, out of Lara, Venezuela. When he's in town, DDLA is his training home — ground balls, cage rounds, and the work behind a pro infielder.

Young infielders at DDLA watch a pro shortstop's footwork and exchanges up close — then run the same drills themselves.
